Part of Joomla-Africa is an adserver allowing clients to advertise on the web network maintained by Joomla-Africa. What does this mean? All clients of Joomla-Africa have the option to advertise across the network giving you larger presence on the internet.

The number of advertisements depends on the number of clients using the service and the number of advertisements shown on the network.

Currenlty there are over 30 web sites / blogs (locations) where advertisements are shown. By adding client web sites; we are effectively expanding the service on a more efficient and larger scale. For each new client we add another channel (blog or web site). Every hosted domain added to the adserver network gives the client more space to show advertisements. Therefore; every hosted domain acting as a publisher; allows the client an advertisement on the whole network.

The current network provides on average per month (calculated for the past 12 months):

- 8000 visitors
- 40 000 pages
- 225 000 hits

We are seeing a steady increase in visits per month. The current database of Joomla-Africa is over 15 000 opt-in subscribers. We communicate at least 2 times per month to the database.

A: All clients get three advertisements accross the network for only R195 per month with detailed statistics on a weekly basis.

Q: What type of advertisements are included in the package?
You get a two banner advertisements and one text based advertisement shown randomly accross the newtork. The banners are 486 x 60 pixels and 160 x 100 pixels; either in jpg or gif format. Animated gif advertisements are possible.
